02ABOUT

The person behind the projects.

I am a First Class Computer Science graduate from the University of East Anglia. I enjoy understanding how things work, finding the right questions to ask and turning the answers into useful software.

HOW I THINK

Good questions. Useful answers.

01

Understand the problem.

I take time to work out what is actually needed before reaching for a tool. A clear problem is a good starting point for a useful solution.

02

Keep it practical.

I enjoy the detail of algorithms and systems, but I care just as much about clarity. I aim for software that is understandable, testable and straightforward to maintain.

03

Learn, then share.

Tutoring, leading a university project and working with clients have taught me the value of explaining ideas clearly and listening carefully.

EXPERIENCE BEYOND CODE

A broader perspective.

Alongside software projects, I have worked in manufacturing, tutored Computer Science and supported clients with Google Ads, content and IT. Those experiences have shaped how I communicate, take responsibility and work with other people.

I speak English and Romanian.

My experience & education

A little room for chaos

Fantasy has always had a way of pulling me in, whether that is through Dungeons & Dragons, Greek mythology or anime. I DM an online D&D campaign for my university group, where I can spend hours preparing a session only for the players to immediately take it somewhere I never expected. At this point, improvising around the chaos is half the fun.

Greek mythology scratches a similar itch. I like the messy morals, flawed characters and stories where there is rarely one obvious answer. Odysseus is a favourite of mine, especially through his portrayal in EPIC: The Musical. He is clever enough to think his way out of near-impossible situations, stubborn enough to keep going, and flawed enough to create a fair few of those situations himself.

I watch a lot of anime too. I see it as just another way of telling a story, and fantasy in particular often gets far more room to breathe when it does not have to worry about what can realistically be filmed.

When I want something quieter, swimming is how I clear my head. I also enjoy a game of pool: partly for the social side, partly for the strategy, and partly because there is always another shot I could have played better.

OFF THE CLOCK

Good games. Good stories.
